In the exhaust & muffler construction, stainless steel wool is mainly used as cladding for absorption pipes. This prevents the insulation materials, such as E-glass or basalt wool, from being blown away. However, it is also increasingly used to fill the absorption chambers of high-quality silencers. Our silencer wool consists of stainless steel wool of ferritic chromium steel, in temperature class up to approx. 800°C.

Specifications: Stainless steel 434 (DIN 1.4113). Average steel wire thickness 0.07 mm. Resistant to temperature up to approx. 800° C.
Content: 1 kg (Weight approx. 50 grams per meter. Approx 18 meters in length and 8-9 cm wide.)
