Copper wool

A great solution for a large number of applications. Copper is a fairly soft type of metal. This makes it an excellent tool for polishing delicate surfaces. Usually applied where steel wool still rubs too much.

Polishing chrome

Copper is a fairly soft metal type which makes it excellent for polishing delicate surfaces such as chrome.

For distillation and rectification

As a filling for high alcohol distillation in distilleries. If you fill the vapour chamber of your still with copper wool your distillate goes through a purification process

It has a cleansing effect in your distillate and binds more hydrogen sulphide, which results in a milder aroma. It also increases the amount of distilled water because it enhances the rectification effect.

Also suitable for self-built stainless steel stills. In alcohol distillation, the steam must always pass through copper. This material can help a stainless steel distillery to process the sulphurous substances.

As a filter material against viruses and bacteria

Copper is a material known to kill bacteria and inactivate respiratory viruses and can be used as a filter material. The ions are both antiviral and antibacterial, able to kill over 99.9% of bacteria within two hours.
