Copper can be polished using household products such as a paste made from vinegar, salt and flour for an abrasive effect, or a solution of warm water and bicarbonate of soda for lighter dirt, in which case you should soak the copper for a while and then rinse and dry it. For a quick, natural method, use half a lemon sprinkled with salt, while ketchup also works due to its acidity.
Depending on the tarnish, you can also use copper polish or a metal cleaner for a beautiful shine. Below is a selection of our customers' polishing results.
