Polishing copper with a polishing paste is very effective for shine. Apply the paste thinly with a soft cloth in circular motions until a black residue appears, then polish with a clean cloth for a high-gloss finish. Products from Autosol and Triomf are suitable and also offer protection against oxidation. Heavily weathered copper with deep green deposits may require more effort. In that case, use a polishing machine or a polishing ball or polishing disc for the drill.
